Dashboard Engineer at Mobclix in Palo Alto, CA

The Dashboard Engineer role is responsible for developing all of Mobclix’s customer facing web applications featuring complex authoring tools and data visualization.  You will be responsible for coding the HTML, javascript, css, and backend controllers to deliver an industry leading dashboard experience.  Our challenge is to deliver cutting edge dashboards using agile development methods and iterative releases while maintaining a constant focus on streamlined user experience.

• 3+ years of dashboard and web application development experience
• 2+ years developing with Java and/or PHP
• Expert in HTML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax, and standard web interface technologies
• Strong sense of user interaction development and interface design
• A self-starter who thrives on getting things done in an agile work environment

• Familiar with one or more Javascript libraries (jQuery, Prototype, Script.aculo.us, Moo Tools)
• Experience with data charting frameworks (Highcharts, flot, etc)
• HTML5 development work
• Participation in Open Source tools development, especially in the web application space
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate mockups and visual designs into functional applications
• The ability to balance high quality work standards against time constraints
• BSCS degree or equivalent
